Apartment Review for Village Square - Memphis, TN

I moved in these apartments in august 2007 and they wouldnt let me see the apartment until i signed the lease. after signing i went to the apartment and was highly upset. Roaches every where. I didnt know if the roaches where the welcoming committy or if i was being punked. The carpet was disgusting. I wrote all over the move in sheetof things they needed to fix and they fixed nothing. One week after moving there my refrigerator went out and the brought me another dumb refrigerator that was so nasty i would put a dead personin there. I guess the third time was a charm though because thats how many refrigerators I had recieved. A empty apart upstairs was the local prostitutes hang out and whatever they did up there it had my bathroom down stairs flooding and then my toilet backed up into my bathtub and my bathroom floor flooded and it rolled onto my bedroom floor which was carpet. Loud neighbors yelling early in the morning and hanging out outside your apartment at 3 in the morning. I work nights and get off at 3 and 4 and thats a scary thing to see because you dont know if there gonna rob you or ask you for change. Two months after I moved over I heard a guy beg another guy not to shot him and once I looked out the window I saw a man get shot. In march 2008 a young man was killed in the front of the apartment complex. afaeels like you in a boys in the hood movie. Office staff has got to be the worst in the state if not the country. Totally unprofessional....if you value your hard earned possessions run....frequent break ins and if you want to get out of you lease the office wants to give you a hard time. In particular...the fat ass white bitch and her fat black flunky. Ghetto ass hell......period.
