Apartment Review for Macon Manor Apartments - Memphis, TN

If these apartments were properly maintained, it would be a nice place to live. The layout is great, like a motel, and the apartments are roomier than most. We lived there from 10/09 thru 4/10. Half the electricity didn't work. The leasing office said that was MLGW's problem. MLGW told us it was the leasing office's problem. They never fixed the dishwasher after even promising us a new one. Raw sewage was leaking at the front of 4494 and that was a mess. The bathroom and living room ceilings caved in because a water leak upstairs was never fixed nor were the ceilings. The windows aren't properly secured and we had a flat screen tv stolen among other things. Our car was towed by PB&J towing because we parked at the breezeway for about 5 minutes to unload groceries. Had to go downtown and pay $170.00 to get it back. Almost had a truck stolen there. If you leave anything outside they will bang on your door at 7 in the morning telling you to put it inside. The illegal mexicans hanging off the upstairs railing will spit on you as you walk to you vehicle. It's a great place for the illegal mexicans to live and there's a lot of them there. The leasing office will leave the utilities on for them while the few White people that live there have to get them put in their name. I wouldn't live there again even if it was free.
